Saad Ajmal, MD

Dr Ajmal is based at New Lift Weight Loss Center in Herrin, IL. Dr Ajmal performs a wide range of General and minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgeries. As a Bariatric/endocrine/GI surgeon in Southern Illinois, he will help individuals achieve their personal health and weight-loss goals.

About Dr. Ajmal

Dr Ajmal began his medical career at Alpert Medical School of Brown University where he completed his Internship in 2011. He completed his Residency in General Surgery at Brown University in 2015. Dr. Ajmal completed his Bariatric Surgery /Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at Highland Hospital at the University of Rochester in New York where he was also appointed as a faculty fellow in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) and American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
